Growing into the New Year

Growing into the New Year!

“Thought breeds thought; children familiar with great thoughts take as naturally to thinking for themselves as the well-nourished body takes to growing; and we must bear in mind that growth, physical, intellectual, moral, spiritual, is the sole end of education.”

― Charlotte Mason

Time for Learning and Growth

This last week we had three teachers at institute in Holland, Michigan. Our Music/Art teacher Mrs. Bushman, Kindergarten and 1st Grade teacher Mrs. Sandoval and our new 7th/8th grade teacher Mrs. Cullen spent the week with other new teachers, Leslie Voorhees, and Bill and Maryellen St Cyr learning about Ambleside Schools International, Charlotte Mason, and the philosophy of education that we here at Ambleside School Rocky Mountains use in growing our students, families, and community.

Community Works Days

We are still looking for help this Thursday and Friday preparing the classrooms and school for the teachers and students. If you have time, please come and help. This is a great time to get in some volunteer hours and meet new families. Please email admin@ablesiderockymountains.org and let us know when you are able to help. Your support and help are appreciated and we look forward to seeing you on these community work days.

As the school year draws near we are beginning to get ready for our Back to School Night. You can come, have some ice cream and meet your child's classmates and teachers.

We look forward to seeing you next Thursday August 11, 2022 at 6:00 pm.

We say a sad, but excited goodbye to Emily, our Administrator as she has been accepted into a PhD program and must relocate for her classes. She will be missed, but we are excited for her new adventure in her education.
